When it came to finding a successor for the AC 40 City crane in Dunkel Autokran’s fleet, the apple did not fall far from the tree: “We were so happy with the reliability and performance of our City crane that it would have been practically impossible for us to choose anything other than the current AC 3.045-1 City – especially since all the research we did just confirmed that it was an amazing machine,” reports Managing Director Sebastian Dunkel. The crane was handed over by Tadano Sales Manager Manfred Drößer.

The Tadano AC 3.045 City is simply ideal for the jobs that Autokran Dunkel wanted it for: “It’s an extremely compact crane, making it very maneuverable and combining that with a whole lot of power regardless of whether it be during normal lifts or when telescoping under load,” Sebastian Dunkel says while explaining his purchase decision. He then adds that this makes the AC 3.045 City the ultimate all-rounder for building prefab homes and other buildings at tight work sites. “And for jobs at industrial facilities, it can even work in low buildings with steep boom positions and move some pretty big loads thanks to its compact 7.80-meter boom base section,” Sebastian Dunkel points out as an additional crucial advantage behind the crane from Zweibrücken.
